Educational resources, video, motion graphics and digital content

Uncle Shanes’s artwork was incorporated into the learning modules.

A program of Initiatives of Change Australia

Working collaboratively with Uncle Shane Charles and the Initiatives of Change Australia team, I helped translate an
in-person learning experience into accessible digital content. The project brought together video, motion graphics, interactive resources, photography and social content while keeping First Nations voices, stories and cultural knowledge at the centre.

COVID-19 restrictions affected Turruk’s face-to-face delivery. The program needed digital learning materials that could communicate its content clearly and support online participation.

I helped develop the graphics, video and educational resources used to deliver the program online.

THE CHALLENGE

THE APPROACH

A respectful and collaborative digital system

The learning materials were developed in collaboration with Uncle Shane Charles.

His artwork and the cultural knowledge he shared helped shape the visual and educational content.
I created digital and print resources that supported the program’s workshops, online learning material and marketing.

Graphics and video for education and online delivery

I filmed and edited long and short-form video featuring First Nations perspectives, culturally significant locations and program experiences.

Opening and closing motion graphics gave the content a consistent visual identity and helped individual videos feel connected to the wider learning journey.

Adapting the story for each platform

Long-form content was adapted into shorter edits and supporting content for TikTok, Facebook and the Turruk website.

Each format offered a glimpse into the program, carrying through its tone and visual identity to give audiences a sense of the broader learning experience..
